1 in 6 or 1 in 7 couples is going to face infertility. We talk about fertility as a women’s issue as a society, but that’s not the case… But, for heterosexual couples, it’s just as likely for infertility to be coming from the male OR the female. Sperm quality isn’t just an indicator of fertility, it’s also a major indicator for male health. In today’s show, we’re talking with Khaled Kteily of LEGACY all about male fertility, the construct of masculinity and how it’s changing and how we can help, common causes of male interfility and things that can hurt sperm health, how TRT can actually HURT your sperm health, and a candid conversation on creating more joy in your life and the things that steal from it.
Khaled Kteily is a former healthcare consultant at Oliver Wyman in Toronto and studied healthcare and public policy at Harvard University, where he received a full scholarship and graduated with disctinciton. Khaled has previously worked at the World Economic Forum in Geneva, where he had his work on the future of entrepreneurship published at Davos. He’s also the owner and founder of Legacy.
Legacy is a digital first fertility clinic focused on male-factor fertility. Legacy empowers men with the ability to improve, test, or freeze their sperm at home without needing to go to a doctor’s office or talk to someone if they don’t want to. And, fun fact, if you’re in New York or California, your insurance may reimburse you for using Legacy’s product. THAT’S how cool it is.
